I live and work in Aix en Provence, South of France. Born in 1972 in Provence, I was been graduated from Marseille Architecture University in 1999. I learned weaving in 2014 after discover works of Leonor Tawney, Sheila Hicks, Anni Albers… 

 

The transition from thread to tablecloth, from thread to volume, from thread to space is the essence of my artistic research. The relationship between the warp and the weft, but also the transition from the weft to the warp in order to create another dimension is a work that fascinates me and that I want to explore further.

 

My artistic research with weaving immediately turned towards the creation of spaces:

 

Seek to escape from 2D weaving to explore 3D,

Seek to organize circulation by creating gaps,

Weaving a pattern from subtle play of points as the expression of a real, emotional, temporal trace,

Organize the space through a game of repetition, a sort of constructive framework,

Weave but also release the threads which become a tablecloth in dialogue with its environment.

 

My work has been showcased at the Parisian Gallery Amélie Maison d’Art since 2021.
